October 4, 1992. A disaster unfolds in Amsterdam's Bijlmermeer: an El Al cargo plane crashes into two densely populated apartment buildings. The Netherlands is instantly in the global news spotlight. While the Bijlmer mourns and the government insists that the disaster flight was carrying only innocent cargo, veterinarian Asha Willems and Trouw journalist Vincent Dekker begin to suspect that there is more to the story.
